SEO is search engine optimization. In order to have your website with a good ranking in search engines you need to optimize it.

SEO includes amongst other:

1. Link Exchange – including paying for links.

2. Content – Articles, fresh original content for your website.

3. Social media links – creating a small buzz around your website and so on.

The knowledge for SEO is something you can find online. Sometimes people prefer to pay other sources to do SEO for their website. In my opinion it’s a waste of good money.

If you don’t have the time for it then yeah, pay for SEO but be careful of how you do it as there are many fraud in the SEO business. In order to find whether the company is a fraudelnt one or not, simply search for the name of the company in Google or other search engines and you will know.

If you have the time for it, simply invest some reading time in some GOOD seo sources such as SEOBOOK.com and so on (search for seo in one of the search engines) The good sources and most popular ones are the ones you will find in major keywords.
