Deliver quality traffic to your website- Step one, define quality
The first move you need to do is you like to deliver quality traffic to your website is to understand and define what is this quality you are looking for.
Your website is looking for quality traffic; this is the traffic that will bring me money online. It can be content readers, banner clickers, games players, online investors, younger who are looking for dates and so on. These are the people who are about to worth you money and by defining them you can optimize your online traffic and convert it into money.
If we will give the online Rummy example, the quality traffic for the webmaster is the potential players. Online visitors to the website who are willing to play online Rummy, willing to deposit money online and like to play and win Rummy games. In the dating world, the quality traffic are young people, and old ones, that are looking for everything in the dating world. They are looking for online sex, online dates, online friends and online mates. If you are into the dating businesses online, this traffic is your quality traffic and they can worth you money.
Webmasters and SEO marketers are looking to get as much money as possible, but sometimes you need to look for the quality and not for the quantity. Tons of visitors to your site and not always the tons of money you can make online with them.

Advertise your business with public forums
The next step after you already have an account in online forums, relevant forums for your business is to start posting. As a new member to the forum you must remember that you will not always be the first post on the top subject in the forum and that you might get little attention at the beginning.
Your first posts must be neutral, do not start it with hot words about your business, links to your website and gifts to all new members. You will be banned from the forum in two minutes. The right way to do so is to start talking and posting about yourself, your life and why you are in the forum.
If we are talking about photographer’s forum, which each photographer can talk about his photos, tell stories about his job and show some pictures online. Your goal is to advertise your business on the forum. Post new threads, reply to other people threads, join communities and give people the feeling (which is true) that you are part of the group.
Next step is to start pushing your business online and start making money online with free advertisements on the forums. After introducing yourself, start talk about your business. I will detail this idea with the online gaming world in the next part of Advertising your business with public forums.

My answer is yes and no and that it depends on the type of traffic you have.
Following the success of my best seller (well, it was never actually sold so might as well call it a best reader), traffic = money, I will analyze the use of Google Adsense with a website.
I would like to divide a website traffic in to 2 types which are - targeted traffic and non targeted traffic:
Targeted traffic - Traffic which fits the product on the website. An example to targeted traffic can be a book reader inside a virtual book store.
Untargeted traffic - Traffic which doesn’t fit the product on the website. An example to untargeted traffic can be a little kid inside an adult website.
Targeted traffic and Adsense - If you have a website with targeted traffic to the product you advertise - you’re lucky. Google adsense are very good with targeted advertising. The only problem is that a click on the adsense will be worth around $1 - $4, which means you sold your traffic for cheap.
Let’s take an example in which you sold a $100 worth product on your website (through an affiliate program or so) and it took 20 clicks per sale - you are already ahead with a $5 worth of click.
Untargeted traffic - If you have an untargeted traffic website, join the club. There are millions of websites just like yours just waiting for some attention. An untargeted click on the google adsense ads will get you between 1 cent to $1 depends on the ad.
To summarize, there are plenty of services similar to google adsense. To tell you the truth, it was once more profitable to place google adsense on the website from several reasons and the main reason is that people didn’t know google adsense and they clicked on it. As the number of clicks decreased so did the payout.
It’s your choice - you know how much your traffic is worth - act accordingly.
Good luck,
Ben
