Make money from home

These days are the hottest days in this summer and I can not go out to work. Usually, I’m selling Hot Dogs on the 7^th street and I’m making my living from it. But today it’s too hot to eat a Hot Dog. This is why I decided to stay at home and make some money on the internet.

I’m not a webmaster but I saw many idea’s on How2MM websites and I fell now that I can start. I am about to open my self a blog on the internet and promote my Hot Dogs stand online. Since im not the best webmaster online, I will take some tips from the site – how to start promoting yourself online.

I will open a blog and will buy domain for the future.
I’m going to add my link and tell about my Hot Dogs in the local forums. City online Forum, university forum, clubs on the 7^th‘s forums and such. Will give the forum members some % off my regular prices.
Soon I will have my Google ad words campaign running for specific searches and I added my links to several important websites.
I have bought some ad spaces on some local websites and two bloggers from my neighborhood already wrote a post for me.

This is how im going to promote myself and going to raise my earnings. On the internet, if you are not there, you do not exist. Now I’m there and I’m happy.Now Im writing myself a check.

The more traffic you get to your website the better it’s for you. As many people are seeing your ad’s, reading your articles and clicking your banners, its good for your business. The formula is simple: get more traffic to your websites- make more money online. Is it true?

I must say I do not agree. More traffic is good to your websites and to your business because many reasons:

v The more exposure you have for your materials online, the better its for you and for your conversion rates.

v As many people visiting your site, it’s good for your PR and Stage on the websites lists as at Alexa’s.

v People who will like your site will direct their friends to it, the more the better

v And more man reasons.

BUT, if you are selling stuff online, affiliate some online cards games, operate links directory or just having fun things on the site, sometime small quantity of traffic can worth you more and there is no need to invest time and money to advertise the websites world wide.

Imagine a website who is advertising some affiliate programs, he is looking for webmasters or potential webmasters and trying to convert them all to become affiliates like him. Now, he can market him self to all visitors but the potential customers will be few. On the other hand he can advertise to webmasters only and get lower traffic but better for him.

Get low traffic but quality one for your website and make more money online

When you are selling products or services online you always look to have two things on the best side. You have to take care of your customers and to make sure you will always have new ones. The old customers will come back to buy things from you and to try new things because they are happy with you. The important thing is to sell for new ones daily.

Actually there are no 1-2-3-4 steps to follow in order to make money online, but there are some things you must do and others you must not do, in order to start the journey to your home business.

Professionalism: You may be young, you may work only 10 minutes a day, and you may give your home business 10% of your free time. All the above is forgivable, but you must be professional! The text you are writing need to be clear with no mistakes, the pictures you uploading must be free to use. You need good looking site and nice\ user friendly admin area.
Mailing list: DO NOT SPAM. Add an email collector to your website and start having your own lists. Your own customers who are members of your website. These people will enter their mails and you will be able to use them in order to send them bonuses, deals and newsletters.
Business plan: I call it advertising plan. What do you want to advertise, how? How may times? Where? What’s the investment of it? What’s the ROI you are looking to get?

This is actually not the question I meant to ask, the real one was: to be online or not to be online? This question is asked by million of people who are still not online. If you are not online, nothing to do, you just do not exist.
